BSA | The Software Alliance Senior Vice President of US Government Relations Craig Albright shares how a lack of comprehensive technology laws could impact the economy.
Craig Albright, senior vice president of US government relations at industry group BSA, said Biden should seize the moment to “make a strong call for national laws on technology issues,” notably around AI.
“The White House has led by issuing its executive order on AI and driving a process for voluntary industry commitments,” Albright said. “But without national technology laws, the US will continue its trend toward a complicated web of laws and uncertainty across the country that risks holding back the economy.”
